Absolutely! You’re welcome to pack up to 100 lbs of personal items in the trunk or cargo area of your vehicle. Just make sure they’re contained in a single box or suitcase. If you need to pack more, no problem! Just let us know the estimated weight and we’ll give you an all-inclusive price. However, please keep in mind that the front seats and floorboards must remain empty to prevent damage during transport.

The backseat must also stay empty unless you’ve received an all-inclusive rate for items to be placed there. Also note that the Department of Transportation prohibits us from shipping anything outside the vehicle on an open transport trailer. If you need to ship items like an additional engine or transmission, they must be crated and transported on an enclosed trailer.

For land shipments, the same rules apply for personal item shipping. However, if you’re shipping to or from Hawaii, you’re not allowed to pack personal items inside the vehicle.
